What we do

The Association of Biomedical Andrologists was formed in August 2004 as a professional body to provide support for laboratory scientists in the United Kingdom who undertake Clinical Andrology in their daily work. The aims of the Association are to:

  • Provide training for scientists in laboratory Andrology
  • Develop Continuing Professional Development for those working in the andrology laboratory
  • Support laboratory scientists working in the andrology laboratory and provide a forum for discussion
  • Develop guidelines and represent the profession to other bodies and regulatory authorities
  • Work towards regulation of the profession
