In the UK, clinical scientists and healthcare science practitioners make up only 5% of the healthcare workforce but perform 80% of all diagnoses. The ABA strongly encourages all members to seek registration. Members who are not registered with the Health and Care Professions Council are encouraged to contact the Academy for Healthcare Science to apply via their equivalence process.
The Association has felt it necessary to publish a statement to clarify the ABA position and to settle confusion that some andrologists are still facing by using CASAs that are not fully validated.
Travel Grants are available to help ABA members with attending Andrology/Fertility related conferences. These are available to all ABA members, please download the form from the 'Minutes and Documents section'
A new application form for ABA training courses has been released
Issue 10 of the ABA Newsletter has been distributed.
